A STEP TOWARDS DREAMS

A STEP TOWARDS DREAMS...

A person can't be a hero or champion by going to gym and clubs, he should have a dream, a desire, and most important skill. If a person have a skill then by practicing, he can be a great player and also inspiration for many youngsters.

A famous writer " Liane Cardes" Once said "continuous efforts not strength or intelligence is the key to unlocking our potential".

There are so many games clubs and NGO's that are providing every single need or service related to the games to the players, who wants to win the medals for nation and fulfill their own dreams. On last Friday 30th august, I got a chance to visit a games club and NGO.

I had an eye - opening visit to the 'Rurka Kalan' a sports and heritage village of Punjab - based youth football club { YFC } . More than just a football club, this incredible NGO is a beacon of hope for the community, fighting against drug abuse, improving sanitation, and nurturing young talent. From empowering the youth talent through sports to driving social change in agriculture, environment and beyond, the club is truly transforming lives.

While talking, the founder member of YFC tells that YFC established on 29 may 2001 but before that they had a football team, and they earn approx 30 thousands by winning the matches. But, now their turnover is around 10crore . They also getting donation from their well settled ex- players and villagers who are living in foreign.

YFC currently have 40 footballer from which 25 players are playing in matches based on state level and national level also.

I interviewed one of their player named 'Ashish kumar ' 18 years old. He is playing football from last 7 years. He also played 5 state level matches and win 3 out of it. He is getting 100% scholarship from YFC. While talking, he tells that they don't get any kind of help from government and that's very bad and disappointing.

                 Achievements of YFC's players
                            and members

At last, I just want to say that YFC is amazing. The reason behind it's success is the courage, the dedication, the hardwork of it's players and members. I just hope YFC prepared more players in future than now.
