"A visit that changed the mindset".
I had the opportunity to visit a beautiful village in Punjab, and this journey turned out to be one of the most cherished experiences of my life. It offered not just a glimpse into rural life’s simplicity and beauty but also a chance to connect with its culture and people. This experience taught me a lot and gave a new direction to my perspective on life. So, let's start..
Yesterday, I visited a village named 'CHIHERU' located in Punjab with my classmates and senior.
I felt very calm because there was not much traffic or industry. Chirping sounds of birds, butterflies on flowers, and many more natural things that makes it more beautiful and relaxed.
When we entered in village we started talking with people and the interesting thing was that they were very supportive and kind hearted.
We met a lady named Rihana. She was so hardworking. She told us that she's basically from uttar pradesh but she came here for work and the brighter future of her children.
Apart from this, I met a farmer named "Jagga singh". He was doing work in his fields. He had
more than 40 hectare fields. He had his own tubewel. He inspired me most because he's 67 years old and doing farming.
His words was so motivational. When I asked him how he handle it. He replied " when a person controlled his feelings and brain then he can do anything " and he proved it because doing farming at the age of 67 is not everyone's cup of tea.
At last I want to say that government is making many schemes for the farmers but they need to look more because the basic requirements of the farmer are also not completed properly. It's a responsibility of concerned authority to look after basic needs of the farmer, because they plays an important role in growth of nation.
So i explored a lot in that visit I got to know a lot of things and about the problems that people and famers are facing..
Hope you enjoy the reading. Thank you. ❤🌼
